A number of Cars & Coffee events take place in Metro Vancouver, including ELEVATE Cars & Coffee which is hosted by the Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS) at a couple of locations.
In 2026 ELEVATE Cars & Coffee took place on June 7th at the BenzX Lounge in Burnaby. It’s happening again a couple months later on August 15th at the Starlight Casino in New Westminster.
ELEVATE Cars & Coffee Car Shows in Burnaby and New Westminster
The ELEVATE Cars & Coffee events feature a wide range of classic, collectible cars, from amazingly-restored vintage vehicles to modern day supercars. Assuming good weather, you can normally see everything from Lamborghinis to Porsches, Alpha Romeos, BMWs, and all sorts of other beautiful machines from a range of eras. Whenever it happens, the event features incredible vehicles, tasty coffee, and automotive community fellowship. There’s often DJ music as well.
Where Do the Cars & Coffee Events Take Place
ELEVATE Cars & Coffee takes place at a couple of different locations in 2026.
The June 7th event was held from 8:30 to 11:30 am at the BenzX Lounge in Burnaby. Located at 4429 Hastings Street, the car show obviously wasn’t inside the Mercedes Benz-themed coffee shop. Rather, the cars were out back, behind BenzX, in their parking lot.
The August 15th event runs from 8:00 to 11:00 am, and at a different location. This edition of ELEVATE Cars & Coffee happens outside the Starlight Casino in New Westminster. A large variety of vehicles are set up to admire and there are various giveaways as well. Guests can win free play vouchers, coupons and gift cards.
About BenzX
The BenzX Lounge is where the June 2026 event took place. It’s a unique, auto-inspired specialty café and bakery. There is nothing else like it in Metro Vancouver. The place is decorated with car signs and car memorabilia. Some of the tables are even made from real Mercedes Benz cars!
The coffee shop used to be the Benzo Cafe. The place got renovated in the spring of 2026, rebranded, and is now the BenzX Lounge. It’s a coffee shop, but also a bakery. They serve coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and desserts. Their pastries and desserts are amazing! Car lovers adore the place, but so does anyone who likes quality coffee and bakery treats. The place has its own pastry chef who makes things in-house. The portions are generous and, for what you get, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. We highly recommend the place!

About the Vancouver Auto Show
The Vancouver International Auto Show is Western Canada’s largest auto show. It takes place in the spring, in March, at the Vancouver Convention Centre. If you like cars, it’s an event you’ll want to attend. At it you’ll see the latest and greatest from almost all major car manufacturers.
