Old Car Sunday in Mission is one of the largest classic car shows in the Lower Mainland. Held at Fraser River Heritage Park, the event draws thousands of visitors each Father’s Day and showcases hundreds of collectible vehicles. More than just a car show, it’s a community celebration that supports local charities, including the Mission Firefighters’ Charitable Society and other worthwhile causes.
Old Car Sunday happens on Father’s Day which in 2026 is on Sunday, June 21st.
Mission’s Old Car Sunday Car Show
Old Car Sunday features an impressive variety of vehicles from across the decades. Visitors can expect to see everything from antique cars and vintage trucks to sleek muscle cars and convertibles. While North American-made classics like Chevrolets, Corvettes, Impalas, Mustangs and Buicks make up a large portion of the show, there are also plenty of international models. Collectible MGs, Jaguars, Toyotas, BMWs, Volkswagens and other European and Japanese imports add to the mix, making the display wonderfully diverse.
Community Atmosphere at the Car Show
The event takes place at Fraser River Heritage Park, a spacious green setting just minutes from downtown Mission. Rows of gleaming vehicles fill the open field, with proud owners on hand to share stories about their cars. Families, car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike gather to enjoy the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Mission itself is located in the Fraser Valley, across the river from Abbotsford. It’s easily accessible from Metro Vancouver via Highway 1 and the Mission Bridge, or by following the scenic Lougheed Highway through Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
