Cruise the Shore Car Show on Vancouver’s North Shore

Cruise the Shore is a must-attend summer event for car enthusiasts and families alike, offering a mix of community fun, classic cars, and charity support on Vancouver’s beautiful North Shore.

The event celebrates its eighth anniversary in 2026. Last year it happened on the weekend of August 23rd and 24th. As of early 2026, dates and other details for the event this year are to be confirmed.

Saturday’s car cruise normally travels through North Shore neighborhoods, while Sunday’s main event is hosted at Park Royal Shopping Centre’s Village area.

Last year, Cruise the Shore raised funds for the North Shore Crisis Services Society, which supports women and children leaving domestic violence situations.

What to Expect at the Car Show

Both days of the event highlight vintage cars, with community members able to register their vehicles for display.

Registration last year cost $35, which covered both the Saturday cruise and the Sunday Show & Shine. The Saturday kicked off with an early breakfast at Tomahawk Restaurant (at 1550 Philip Avenue in North Vancouver), followed by a parade with nearly 150 cars, some up to 90 years old or older. The day concluded with a public BBQ open to everyone.

The Sunday focuses on the Show & Shine at Park Royal Mall, with all registered vehicles on display. Fundraising highlights in 2025 included a 50/50 draw and a silent auction. Tickets for the 50/50 ranged from $10 for one ticket up to $100 for a 300-ticket pack. 2026 will likely be similar, but with exact details to be confirmed.
