Vancouver’s ABFM All-Brit RUN

The Vancouver ABFM All-Brit RUN is an annual classic car event linked to the All British Field Meet (ABFM). The former is a car rally while the latter is a massive car show the day before.

Featuring dozens of classic and collectible British cars, the ABFM All-Brit Run involves a scenic drive across the Lower Mainland. In recent years the event has started in either Coquitlam or Langley and its final destination has been either Harrison Hot Springs or Mission. Each year is different.

The ABFM All-Brit RUN is a fun outing for car enthusiasts and a chance for the public to admire some of the finest classic vehicles in the region.

Vancouver’s All British Field Meet Post-Event Car Rally

The All British Field Meet (ABFM) is a celebrated British car show held at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver. Scheduled on the Saturday of the Victoria Day Long Weekend, the show attracts hundreds of classic cars and thousands of car enthusiasts. It’s a must-visit for anyone passionate about vintage British automobiles. Tickets for the Saturday event are required for both car owners and the general public (and it’s so worth paying for)!

On the following day, so on the Sunday of the May Long Weekend, the Vancouver ABFM All-Brit RUN continues the celebrations. There’s a special driving event exclusively for owners of classic British cars, and the public can watch the vehicles depart for free.

In 2026, the big car show at VanDusen Garden is on Saturday, May 16th. The car rally, meanwhile, takes place on Sunday, May 17th.

For more information about the event, see the Western Driver website.

Sunday Morning Details

On the Sunday, participants of the car rally gather at a designated location in the morning. Last year it was at KMS Tools in Langley (at 19600 Langley Bypass, across from Willowbrook Mall). The event is a great opportunity for everyone to view classic cars at no cost.

At around 10:30 am, the convoy begins its leisurely drive to a designated final location. This year it’s to Harrison Hot Springs in the scenic Fraser Valley.

The All-Brit RUN Experience

Following the gathering at KMS Tools in Langley last year, participants of the Vancouver ABFM All-Brit RUN embarked on a 100+ km drive, navigating a mix of back roads and picturesque routes.

Regardless of the final destination, with the car rally, each driver receives a detailed map, allowing for flexibility or independent exploration along the way. This makes the drive both enjoyable and adventurous.

The event concludes with a celebratory finish. Drivers come together to relax, socialize, and share their experiences from the run. Combining classic car admiration, scenic driving, and community celebration, the Vancouver ABFM All-Brit RUN delivers a unique and engaging experience for everyone involved.
